Ultimate Database

The Ultimate Database is a single online database capable of holding intelligent information on any subject you can think of.

The idea is that if there is a reliable list of countries for example on the web that it will be used as the definitive online list of countries.
Any form of relevant data could then be added to the countries such as population, industry information, languages spoken, currency etc.
Counties and regions for the countries could be listed and used by other database applications as a reliable source of information.

The database is structured in such a way that each item or list is given an ID. This ID once assigned will always remain. It can then be accessed directly, either manually by a user or automatically by a piece of software.

All data is intelligently linked in two directions to other items so information found is always relevant. If an animal is linked to all theplants it eats then when you interrogate the plant it would automatically show all the animals that eat it. This level of data integration could change the way searching for information on the web works for ever.
