Change the Job/Tel Column to Default to Job

In the Companies Screen, the Job/Tel column of the Contacts tab will display the job positions entered for these contacts when you are viewing the record (the hot area is orange). When you enter the record (by clicking anywhere in the record) this will change to display the telephone number of the contact.

To keep the default always on job title

  • Go to Parameters and Lists > Marketing Database > Main Parameters in the main menu.
  • In the fifth tab System Parameters, add the line
    CONTDISP = JOB.
  • Save by ticking the green tick button. Note, this will change the parameters for the whole database, not just by user.
