Linking Communications

You can link communications together to follow on from earlier notes. If communications are linked in this way, it allows you to instantly follow a line of communication you have had with a company or contact without having to scroll through the main communications page of the record. The Communications window has an extra Communication button and a Communications tab for this purpose.

  • Locate the original communication and open it by double clicking on the Comm. number in the grid list. You can search in the Communications tab of the record, or in the Organiser Communications Page.
  • To link another Communication click on the Comm. button ,  and another communications window will open for you to enter any details.
  • Save by clicking on the green tick button.
  • In the communications tab, the linked communication will now be listed.
  • The communication is also listed as normal in the main communications page of the record.
