Linking Communications to Events/Publications

There are two ways of linking communications. The option can be set to automatically select a Event/Publication code when adding a communication to make sure all communications are linked. This facility can be switched on or off as required.

  • Click on the Options tab.
  • Tick the Advanced Communications tick box to switch on bringing up the Event/Publication selection window when adding a communication.
  • To disable, untick the box.

Individual communications can be linked by entering the event/publication code in the Links tab of the communication window.

In the Communications tab of the company record the comms can be filtered by an particular event/publication. Enter an Event/Publication code in the field and the grid will display only communications related to that code. Clicking on the product class button will automatically enter the event/publication code you are currently working in as denoted at the very top of your screen next to your user initials.
