The Company Summary tab contains a grid listing the purchase and sales ledger totals for this company for each accounting period (month). This information can be shown in graph form.
In the Year field, enter the year that you wish to summarise. The grid will now display the summary details of the chosen year.
Creating a chart in Excel.
Select the grid columns (ie sales and/or purchase ledger) you wish to plot by checking the ‘chart’ boxes at the foot of the column next to the column total. Choose the type of chart to create by checking the relevant chart type boxes. Click the Chart button to transfer the data to Microsoft Excel and create the selected chart.
